Waterworx Plumbing and Gas collectively has over 40 years of industry experience to share. We can design, install and certify almost anything on any domestic or commercial project.

Water

From new homes to whole kitchen or bathroom renovations to a leaking tap, no job is too big or small for us. Water tanks with fire reserve required for all rural properties, and water pumps. Feel free to call us up for a free quote for any job you need done.

Gas

Harry and the team are able to expertly install any Gas Fires, hot water or gas cooking conversions, as a certifying Gasfitter Harry is able to self certify any gaswork that needs to be done.

We are able to install Gas Fires for you, the Escea and Rinnai range of gas fire places are highly recommended by us. We are also able to install diesel and wood fires.

Our Team

Adam Thomson started off as a high school student that came once a week to get experience and is now in the 1st year of his apprenticeship. Originally from Canterbury but has lived in sunny Central Otago for the last 14 years. Some of his interests include playing football, fishing enjoys the outdoors, and Cars. Adam Thomson, Apprentice Plumber

Harry has been in the plumbing industry for over 20 years doing his apprenticeship here in Alexandra. Having worked in the UK, Australia, New Zealand and gaining certifying licences with the NZ PGDB, which means that he is able to legally supervise and certify all our work. Harry has vast knowledge and information for all your Plumbing, Drainlaying and Gas needs. In his spare time Harry enjoys spending time with his family and attempting to catch the occasional fish.

Tracie started out in the plumbing industry as a labourer helping Harry on the shovel and pipeouts on our first few new builds, "After the business grew so fast, we decided that we needed a manger to steer us in the right direction" Tracie then took over running the business and Health & Safety, which is a totally different world from her chosen profession as a Qualified Dental Assistant.
In her spare time Tracie is usually found actively supporting her children, Tessa and Libby, on the sidelines, in the many different sports and activities they compete in or cooking up a storm in the kitchen.

With too many years to count of experience in Trucks and diggers Ken is now helping us out and giving the Plumbing world a go! Living in Central Otago most of his life he started out as a mechanic in Lauder then heading down south for a few years living and working in Waikoikoi and then returned to Alexandra. Ken enjoys spending time with family and friends, Fishing trying to catch the big one, which always seems to get away and recently returning from a trip up north in his motor home.
